Cholesterol (High) - Bad Lifestyle
BACKGROUND
Joan, a 59 year old corrections officer, complained of lethargy, joint pain, irritable bowel syndrome, and a total cholesterol of 276.
LIFESTYLE
Joan ate about the worst diet possible. Vending machines and TV Dinners were her standard fair. She did not exercise and her stress levels were extremely high due to her health and occupation as a correctional officer.
OTHER SYMPTOMS
Too many to list.
FINDINGS
Multiple nutritional deficiencies and multiple spinal misalignments.
TREATMENT
Structural: Monthly spinal alignments, cranial adjustments and muscle rebalancing techniques.
Chemical: Multiple vitamins, essential fatty acids, digestive support (enzymes and betaine hydrochloride), soothing digestive herbs, liver supporting herbs, fiber.
Lifestyle: Extreme diet modifications – introducing whole, organic foods; aerobic exercise to encourage a fat-burning metabolism; and water with every meal.
RESULTS
Joan lived three hours away and therefore could only be seen once a month. Despite this limitation, she did exceptionally well. After the first month Joan reported a great improvement in energy, sleep and pain symptoms. After her second month all other symptoms were well under control. COMMENTS
Joan is one of the great success stories for natural health techniques. On her first visit she was told that if healthy changes were not immediately made, her chances of ever being well were grim. She took this to heart and did exactly what she was told. You too can be well!
