Depression (B-Vitamin Deficiency)
BACKGROUND
Mack, a 63 year old retired barber, complained of on and off depression. For four years Mack had been taking Paxil to help with his depression and anxiety.

LIFESTYLE
Mack's diet consisted of the normal American foods. However, his family was from Japan, so he tended to eat larger amounts of fish and rice. Mack exercised regularly by walking, skiing and golfing.

OTHER SYMPTOMS
Digestive complaints and insomnia.

FINDINGS
Low vitamin B1, other nutritional deficiencies, structural misalignments, meridian imbalances.

TREATMENT
Structural: Spinal and cranial adjustments.

Chemical: Vitamin B1 (thiamin), essential fatty acids.

RESULTS
After only one week Mack "felt great" and consequently stopped his Paxil. He has not needed it since.

COMMENTS
This was a clear case of quantity vs. ratio.
