Infertility - Unsustainable Pregnancy
BACKGROUND
Stephanie, a 33 year old music instructor, complained of difficulty maintaining a pregnancy. In the last three years Stephanie suffered from three separate miscarriages: 6, 10, and 16 weeks respectively.

LIFESTYLE
Stephanie works from home. Her stress levels began as low but gradually increased with each successive miscarriage. Stephanie’s diet was fair with a mix of processed and whole foods. She did not exercise regularly.

OTHER SYMPTOMS
Irregular menstrual cycles, lower back pain, afternoon fatigue, gas, and bloating.

FINDINGS
Food intolerance to wheat and dairy, cranial bone misalignments, pelvic misalignments, dysbiosis.

TREATMENT
Structural: Cranial bone and pelvic adjustments.

Chemical: Multiple vitamins with extra thiamin (B1), essential fatty acids, herbs to support liver detoxification, herbs to soothe the digestive system, herbs to eliminate unfriendly organisms in the digestive system.

Lifestyle: Diet changes to reduce processed food intake and eliminate wheat and dairy products; aerobic exercise to encourage a fat-burning metabolism.

RESULTS
Stephanie became pregnant after two months. She was seen throughout her pregnancy at a rate of once or twice a month. At three months, Stephanie was able to resume consumption of wheat products and some dairy. At the sixteen week point, Stephanie experienced light bleeding and naturally became quite concerned. A normal treatment was given the same day and the bleeding stopped soon thereafter. She carried the baby to term and delivered a healthy 7lb. 2oz. girl.

COMMENTS
Ideally it is better to wait four to six months before re-attempting to become pregnant. This allows the body time to respond to the changes placed upon it. Despite getting pregnant after only two months, she was blessed with a successful outcome - no doubt in large part to her diligence in following the treatment regime and recommendations.
